Show Day at Pyecombe

Thursday 20th May

Senior Affiliated Show jumping

It was a glorious sunny day at Pyecombe, with a happy and excited atmosphere. We arrived at the show ground and it was already busy full of horse boxes, horses and riders getting ready to compete. With many very talented horses and riders all there to strut their stuff, it could be anyone's win.

We took a moment to soak up the atmosphere, horses smartly groomed and plaited, tack clean and colour coordinated and the riders looking dapper in their own branding supported by their sponsors.

It was our first outing to a show as Ride_2win, and with the support of our video/ photo collaborator 28th Street Media in no time at all we had managed to talk and share with riders and grooms, discussing the highs and lows of the sport and their own personal experiences.

Ride _2 Win attended the show to spread the word about the importance of mental health in our equestrian Community, and to interview and talk to everyone while we were there. We have been getting great feedback on just how important it is to share experiences, talk to and support each other.

There were many highlights to the day, but for me was to see Our Cilla jump and go clear. It was so exciting and as you can see by my reaction below I didn't hold back.

The feeling of purpose and making a difference confirmed that our vision was needed, allowing people to share talk and support each other and keep it real. Discussing mental health is not just about the lows it is the WIN, however that is to you, it may be just being able to attend the show and being part of the whole experience.

The day was a great success capturing photos, interviews and most of all talking to people and realising they want to help bring people together to form a community. We are planning more days at shows especially with show season in full swing.

If you see us at shows please come and say hello, we will always have Time2talk and be camera ready.

Join our community to find out where we will be.

Thankyou to 28thstreetmedia.co.uk for supporting us from the beginning and sharing your own personal journey.
